Aim

To provide lesson plans and schemes of work to aid a natural approach to death and grief education, meeting PSHE and Citizenship criteria, and suitable for other curriculum areas. Supports SEAL delivery

Learning outcomes

to develop positive strategies to introduce this emotive subject in an appropriate way to children, young people, their families and the school community
to give creative ideas, lesson plans and activities forming a scheme of work, which aids emotional literacy and grief coping skills. Suitable for Primary and Secondary schools
to gain confidence to take a proactive approach, treating death as a natural part of everyday classroom life rather than a taboo subject
