The Child Bereavement Charity's ethos is to listen to families who have suffered the tragedy of bereavement - their experiences inform all our work.
Families have told us that sharing their experiences is not only an effective way of expressing some of the complex emotions around their bereavement, but it also serves to lessen the sense of isolation they can so often feel when a death happens. Most families are encouraged to think that professionals can learn from their experiences and in this way enhance the care offered to other families who sadly will face such experiences in the future.
If you would like to share your experiences with CBC, either in writing, or by speaking at a training day or conference, please contact Ann Chalmers, Chief Executive, on 01494 446648 or enquiries [at] childbereavement [dot] org [dot] uk
