Below are a few words from Arthur about why he has decided to set up an annual charity fishing contest:
'Hi my name is Arthur James Norton, I live with my partner Diane who i have been with 14 years and we live in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We had a son who we called Gerald after my dad who is also called Gerald, sadly we lost Gerald who died at 7 weeks old. He died of hypo-plastic left heart syndrome, where we have 4 heart chambers he had 3 heart chambers, he never left hospital. Diane got close to Gerald, I did not get close to Gerald as I know he was not going to live long and I will always regret it for the rest of my life. So I decided to start AFH (angling for hearts) in memory of our son.'
