Volunteering

Giving your time to the Child bereavement Charity as a Volunteer is of enormous help not only in the practical sense but because more people will hear about the Charity through you who may also like to support our work.

There are a number of ways in which your valuable time and skills could help. Perhaps you would like to help out at a CBC event [0]or Conference or come into our offices at West Wycombe to help with a variety of work. You could also organise your own fundraising event [0].

Anyone who has experienced a significant loss will tell you how important it is that people acknowledge what has happened. CBC's work raises awareness and understanding of grief and loss. Become a CBC volunteer or friend of the charity [0], and spread the word about our work, so that the people who need help, regardless of where they are around the country, receive it.

Becoming a volunteer is easy - anyone can do it, although people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please call Emma Carter, our volunteer co-ordinator, on 01494 446648 or email her at: enquiries [at] childbereavement [dot] org [dot] uk
