With support from the Department of Health and Children's Promise, made possible by Marks & Spencer and the Millennium Fund, The Child Bereavement Charity established Bereavement Support posts in NHS Trusts throughout the UK.

These posts were based on the model of work already undertaken by the Charity's Founder, Jenni Thomas, at Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and our Founder Patron, Julia Samuel, at St Mary's Hospital Paddington NHS Trust.
