CBC works collaboratively with many organisations to improve support for bereaved families through highlighting the parent's and child's perspective.

These partners include statutory bodies such as the Department of Health, the Coroners Service, Police Authorities and local education authorities as well as other voluntary organisations and charities.

Jenni Thomas, Founder of CBC, was one of the first non-executive members to be appointed to the Retained Organs Commission. The Commission was set up by the Secretary of State for Health, as recommended by the Chief Medical Officer in his advice to the Government on the taking and retention of organs and tissues at post-mortem examination.
