The Snowdrop Walk 2010 was a huge success on Sunday 14th February and despite some changeable weather (i.e. cold and wet!) over 500 people supported the day.
This was the 10th annual Snowdrop Walk where families walked and planted a snowdrop in memory of a loved one. At the end of the walk many people also took advantage of the welcome offer of a cup of tea, bacon roll and piece of cake in the village hall. There were various activities for children as well.
Ian Davis, Head of Fundraising and Marketing for the charity said: "Everyone has somebody they want to remember as they walk round. It's good to get out in these beautiful surroundings, with friends, family, or on our own, and spend some time thinking about those people whom we miss. Its important to let the children who come run around and enjoy themselves too."
