New initiative to help Children Bereaved by Suicide
3 days ago by Child Bereavement Charity

It’s a startling statistic that every year in the UK, around 6000 families are bereaved by suicide. And research shows that families who experience the death of a loved one by suicide are themselves, as a consequence, more vulnerable to an increased risk of suicide and mental health issues.

Having identified this gap, the Child Bereavement Charity was well placed to take up the opportunity to work in collaboration with Diana Sands PhD, Director of the Bereaved by Suicide Service, Sydney to bring a new resource to the UK.
