CBC does a lot of work in schools and with teaching professionals, and often schools want to do things to help CBC which, not surprisingly, we are very keen on!
Schools and colleges who have benefited from CBC support and training are some of our most important fundraisers and they had a great time doing it.
Sadly it is not uncommon for school staff or pupils to die, and the effect on the whole school comunity is usually very significant. Supporting CBC with fundraising activities in a school not only helps us, it also raises awareness that support is available. Staff and students will come to know a little more know more about bereavement, or at least where to find help. Sometimes there will be some excellent support available from a local organisation, and we can signpost it for you.
