Families tell us time and again the huge value of good support, when someone important to them has died. With a Precious Love Memorial you can help us to ensure that people are offered that support at the times when they need it.
A Precious Love Memorial is a way of commemorating someone special to you; it allows you, and all of those you choose, to remember someone special who has died.
If you want, it can also offer friends and family a positive way to show their own feelings. By contributing to the Child Bereavement Charity, to make sure that support is there for people who find themselves in similar situations in years to come.
Precious Love Memorials are named after the Precious Love Rose, which was commissioned for and donated to the charity by bereaved parents Paul and Louise Woodbridge, in memory of their twins Betsy and William, who died in an accident at home in 2004.
A Precious Love Memorial can be valuable to so many people, in so many different ways...
Families tell us that having a practical and lasting way of remembering someone special can be comforting. An online memorial named after someone who has died can be set up to include stories, videos, pictures and timeline of their life.
How will the Memorial help to remember someone who has died?
Every gift made to your Precious Love Memorial will be acknowledged (unless the donor has asked otherwise). We will also send you, as the memorial holder, regular updates keeping you informed with how the memorial fund is progressing; and how you are supporting our work.
You can decide who accesses your memorial site, and invite family friends to view the memorial via email. It’s completely secure, costs you nothing and you are in complete control of the memorial. If you wish we will email you each month letting you know the total number of donations made offline each month, so you can add them to the fundraising section of your Precious Love Memorial site.
