Ridgeway Relay - June 2012
The Ridgeway National Trail, 87 miles of tranquility, unspoilt landscapes, going past and ancient monuments. Over rolling, open downland to the west of the River Thames, and through secluded valleys and woods in The Chilterns to the east, following the very same track used by prehistoric travellers traders and herdsmen.
As a team of 4 walkers, you must each complete a section of the Ridgeway, every person walking around 22 miles, attempting to complete the route within a combined time of 24 hours. If you aren't a regular distance walker or runner, you will need to train properly. 22 miles over hills, even beautiful ones, is quite a challenge!
