Ray was invited to become a Patron of the Child Bereavement Charity in 2009.  He and his family have received support from the charity following the sudden death of his wife Tina in 2006.  Ray has spent his career in banking and is Chief Executive of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust International in London.  He has two children.
